The adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl will continue in the new We Can Be Heroes

Fans of the 2005 cult adventure film The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D will too.

On Tuesday he announced in a remote Collider Comic Con Panel that director Robert Rodriguez returns to the world of those superhero characters, with the newly finished We Can Be Heroes for Netflix.

In addition, the eponymous heroes, performed at the time through Taylor Lautner and Taylor Dooley of Twilight, will be the parents of the new film, sharing a Sharkboy-Lavagirl offspring that will have attractive powers.
