If you are about to start an anime series below (but you have already exhausted The Seven Deadly Sins), you may be interested in Noragami. The popular shonen series is an action-packed series that follows an attractive premise: a girl’s soul begins to slip out of her random frame. It’s spanned two different anime seasons, but is it over for now? We have all the answers you need if you want to start the presentation.
Yes, noragami’s animated series is over for now. Originally aired with thirteen2 episodes set in 2014, a moment season called Noragami Aragoto began airing in 2015 with thirteen episodes. However, there have been rumors that the animated series will go back to a third season. This would only make sense, given that the manga series is still running and the anime isn’t all over. If you start looking, you may need to keep that in mind.
Noragami follows a school student named Hiyori Iki, who one day discovers himself in a twist of fate on a bus looking to protect a r. As a result, his soul begins to leave his body at probably random intervals. In one such incident, he becomes acquainted with Near Shore, a world of humans and creatures, as well as Far Shore, where demons and humans live. Through his covenants there, he meets an anonymous god without his own sanctuary: Yato.
Yato will settle and fulfill any desire for only five yen, so Hiyori naturally asks him to solve the specific challenge he has with his soul. This initiates an association between the couple as they live several adventures in combination while confronting others with Hiyori-like challenges. Last season ended in a cliffhanger, but since we probably wouldn’t spoil anything here, just know that a new season is likely to continue the story.
In the meantime, be sure to catch up on the first two seasons and read the manga to be able to pass every time the third season is announced. Until then, it may have been quite a while since you dated Yato and his team, so he’s smart for your wisdom from the series while he’s away.
