‘The Batman’ is now available on HBO Max: Here’s how to watch the blockbuster at home

“The Batman,” the latest film adaptation of the DC comic book superhero, is now available to watch at home on HBO Max. The movie’s streaming debut comes 45 days after its theatrical premiere. You can also buy or rent “The Batman” from services like Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, and Google Play.

The film stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero and Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman. The film takes place two years after the superhero began his quest to rid Gotham City of crime. The film pits Batman against the city’s gangs and a mysterious killer known as The Riddler who leaves clues at each and every crime scene.

“The Batman” is part of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film series, which includes the recent “Peacemaker” and “The Suicide Squad,” as well as Zack Snyder’s “Justice League. ” Rather, it tells its own story, separate from this world.

Three more DC movies are scheduled for 2022 and 2023. “Black Adam,” starring Dwayne Johnson, is scheduled for October. “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” and “The Flash” are scheduled for March and June 2023, respectively.

That said, the movie is only available in 4K with high dynamic range (HDR) through the more expensive ad-free plan. The cheaper ad-supported plan is limited to high definition (HD) streaming.
