APPLETON – As the coronavirus pandemic continues, the exhibit is scheduled to continue at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, i.e. next year.
The PAC plans to resume user screens in early 2021 with a list of rescheduled performances, announced on Monday. The remainder of 2020 will run virtually, as announced by the organization in June.
The upcoming Appleton performances next year as part of an update to the 2021 season schedule include two premieres in Wisconsin: “Frozen”, in the hit Disney film, scheduled February 24 to March 7, and “Tootsie”, scheduled for June 15. 20.
Broadway favorites “Cats” and “Hairspray” will play at the PAC, with stops scheduled April 6-11 and May 18-23, respectively.
However, some emissions have been cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19, which has inflamed more than 60,000 Wisconsin residents since early spring.
“To Kill a Mockingbird” scheduled December 8-13 and would have made the CAP the first state place to host the show’s traveling domestic production, founded on Harper Lee’s celebrated 1960 novel of the same name.
But the exhibition would possibly not be on the PAC this season, with Tina Fey’s puppy assignment “Bad Girls,” which was scheduled for October 13-18, and “Aida of Elton John and Tim Rice,” which was scheduled for May. 4-9.
And “Dear Evan Hansen”, which was last scheduled for June, is postponed from August 10 to 15, 2021.
“While this is a difficult time for our network and our industry, we are very happy to see the curtain rise in 2021,” PAC President Maria Van Laanen said in a press release. “While programming might seem a little different, we’re excited to offer a variety of live acting arts reports so our audience can dive in, enjoy, be informed, and share with others.”
In the press release, the CAP presses that the fitness and protection of the public, staff, volunteers, artists and the network will remain the most sensible priority. Health and protection procedures and practices will be announced and announced as the 2021 season approaches.
