The First Descendant is now its first season and features a new hero, ice sniper Hailey, and a new ultimate descendant, edited by Freyna.
The challenge is that those versions of Ultimate Descendant put a damper on one of the main facets of the game, obtaining and upgrading existing characters.
The central challenge here is that it’s not worth spending dozens of hours, millions of gold, only about a dozen catalysts and an energy activator to fully invest in a “normal” character when, in theory, you’re just waiting to get started. Definitive edition when it arrives, when it arrives.
They did this by default at launch, with the Ultimate versions of the initial 3 characters, meaning that no matter how much investment you make in your first character, it will most likely result in a low-powered version. The same goes for Bunny, the first additional character everyone gets.
And for a lot of those characters, that’s important. Lepic is the most productive boss burner in the game with the Ultimate mod on him. Bunny becomes a greater crowd hunter with the Ultimate mod on him. It’s not the case that they are better, but you don’t really know until they arrive, and as such I’ve noticed a lot of other people saying that they don’t accept the It’s hard to be really hard on any character unless it’s the Ultimates, and they are. Wait for new ones to come out before worrying about them.
The First Descendant
The explanation for why Ultimate characters exist is pretty clear, as they are sold in packs for $100 in the store. Honestly, they can be ground, it is only necessary for the luck that is required. But it hurts to invest in a character and it doesn’t help you at all when an Ultimate appears.
That’s not to say that Ultimate versions don’t exist at all, but the trade-off here is that the investment in a base character is also reflected to some degree in a long-term Ultimate version. Whether a power activator is used, catalysts. spent after several restarts, or both, you will be able to choose an Ultimate without destroying your old character. Just convert it to Ultimate (Freyna’s preview describes this literally as a conversion procedure in the story).
Nothing else would change. Alright, they still sell it in the store and have an extra stylish costume. Alright, they make the game very difficult and long. But they allow players to get their Ultimate and not start from scratch, to be able to equip the mod and the Ultimate outfit. and move on without a full reset. The existing formula is bad for everyone, adding Nexon, and you want to change it.
