This Saturday, August 3, 2024, Movie Land, an outdoor cellular movie service, will host an evening of free movies under the stars at Normal Park in Merrill; still from 4:30 p. m. to 10 p. m. Area businesses and network organizations are coming together to create an afternoon and evening of entertainment for youth of all ages. Merrill Cub Scouts will have concessions for purchasing. Array and the mobile popcorn stand will be on site selling popcorn. In addition to the nightly movie, Park City Credit Union plans to host activities for youth, and the Merrill Police Department and Merrill Fire Department will be there for show and tell from 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. to interact with families and young people. Makeup can also be obtained for a small fee. There will also be prizes, with a chance to win one of 4 $20 gift certificates to Los Mezcales.
