Creative sectors have long been at the forefront of human expression and innovation, and artists have shaped societies by setting and challenging the social norms of history. Recent movements through American writers and actors expressing considerations about transparency, intellectual asset rights, and fair remuneration for their paintings in the context of AI are a testament to the tangible effects and tectonic shifts felt in film and other cultural and artistic sectors. While AI proponents see opportunities to decorate creativity by providing new equipment and means for inspiration and collaboration, and by democratizing access to arts equipment and platforms, which could remove barriers for underrepresented groups.

This timely occasion will bring together leading experts in artificial intelligence and the film industry from around the world. The panel will discuss the challenging opportunities and situations presented to the cultural and arts industries through artificial intelligence and device learning, while addressing complex questions about ethics, cultural diversity, and the very nature of human creativity. Together, they will share concepts and exchange perspectives on the existing landscape of AI in the film industry and next steps for action and protection.
