The first five OTT launches this week: recently a diversity of films and internet series has been created, with more start to make their debut on transmission platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney + Hostar and others between January 12, providing many features for a weekend of binge observation.
Amazon Prime Video returns with the season of his iconic “Paatal Lok” after more than 4 years. Paatal Lok season 2 will be broadcast in the Prime Today video, that is, on January 17, 2025. Paatal Lok Season 2 cast includes Jaideep Ahlawat, repeating his role as Hathiram Chaudhary and Ishwak Singh, returning as the officer of IPS Imran Ansari, who has been promoted to Senior of Hathira. The series is also starring Gul Panag with new incorporations to the cast, Shome Shome, Ngesh Kukunoor ,, and Jahnu Barua.
The docu-series on the Roshan family will be released on Netlfix today, January 17. The docu-series will feature Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, and Rajesh Roshan wherein it will take the audience on a journey through Roshans’ lives, struggles and wins.
The season 2 of XO, Kitty released on Netflix on January 16. The series stars Anna Cathcart as Kitty, a Korean American attending a prestigious boarding school in Seoul. The show also stars Korean-born actors Choi Min-young and real-life siblings Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee. Noah Centineo, the co-star of “To All the Boys” also makes an appearance in this season.
The film follows Arjun Sen’s holidays, represented through Abhishek Bachchan, while preparing for surgery that adjusts life and thinks about his heavy appointments with his daughter. The casting includes Ahilya Bamroo as the daughter of Arjun, along Johny Lever, Banita Sandhu and Pearle Maaney in papers. The movie must be had on Amazon Prime Video.
‘Chidiya Udd’ starring Jackie Shroff, Bhoomika Meena, and Sikandar Kher released on Amazon MX Player on January 15. The crime drama series is based on Aabid Surti’s critically acclaimed novel Cages, explores the gritty underworld of Mumbai, filled with crime, power struggles, and survival.
The Malayalam film with Naslen K. Gorfor, Lijomol José, Dileesh Pothan, released in Manorama Max on January 17. The film that was published in theaters on November 7 revolves around Vishnu, who suffers with the arrears and sadness after his friend has gone at the bottom of Chit of his father Cyber-Skillarray
