Traffic alert: Lions Gate bridge, Stanley Park causeway to see partial, full closures this weekend

On Saturday, Feb. 3, park users will expect a single-lane roadway closure between 7:30 a. m. and 7:30 a. m. m. and 2 p. m. Southbound pedestrians and bicyclists will be diverted to the park trails and to the east side of the roadway and the Lions Gate Bridge.

On Sunday, Feb. 4, the Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park causeway will be fully closed to all vehicles, bikes and pedestrians between 7:30 to 11 a.m. Those looking to cross to the North Shore should use the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing.

After the full closure, one lane will be closed on the same day for the 11 a. M. A 2 p. m.

Road users, adding public transit riders, plan for delays or choose routes this weekend. Signs will be placed to direct traffic.
