The National Association of Theatre Owners, the leading lobby organization in the exhibition industry, announced that viewers had sent more than 200,000 letters to Congress of legislative relief measures for cinemas.
NATO used the social media beacon #SaveYourCinema to inspire movie buyers to urge Congress to pass the reset law to provide cinemas with partially reimbursable seven-year loans covering six months of spending. The legislation, introduced in early July through reps Jared Golden (D-Me) and Mike Kelly (R-Pa), aims to provide relief to theaters, theaters, concert halls and artists, restaurants, recreational and fitness corporations and fitness clubs.

They stimulate local economies and stimulate local businesses. But without the additional help of Congress, we care about the long-term industry.
