Universal Halloween Horror Nights brings one of my universal monster dreams to life, but now I have more

Universal Studios parks in Orlando and Hollywood are already known as the home of thrills and thrills similar to the iconic legacy of Universal Monsters, which will expand based on everything we know about the Epic Universe. Thankfully, a new experience has just been announced, for those two parks, as a component of Halloween Horror Nights 2024 that will fuel this desire for all things scary. As a fan of The Mummy, this new haunted space brings to life one of my monster lover dreams; But at the same time it encouraged me to wish for even more benefits.

Thanks to a new announcement from Universal Studios Hollywood, horror enthusiasts on both coasts can now prepare for the ultimate legacy, dubbed “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines. “Numbers clash, we are about to witness a war that promises an all-out and terrifying war. And as seen in the official synopsis below, death is just the beginning:

The Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines Haunted Houses will provide guests with an all-new terrifying story, as they are placed in the middle of the ultimate war between two unforeseen alliances of ancient female universal monsters. Fans will meet Saskia Van Helsing, a fearless new hunter and daughter of the respected Abraham Van Helsing, who killed Count Dracula by driving a stake through his stomach and destroying his reign of terror. Saskia now faces Dracula’s daughter, Countess Marya, who has risen from the dead to exact revenge on her father and destroy Van Helsing’s bloodline. In a project to kill, Dracula’s daughter from the bureaucracy of Dracula’s 1936 Daughter establishes a fatal alliance with the She-Wolf, encouraged through the 1946 film The She-Wolf of London, and Anck-Su-Namun, from the 1932 film. The Mummy – only to be intercepted through Saskia and an ally, The Bride of Frankenstein. This terrifying adventure will take guests on an adventure between the hunted and the hunters in a deathmatch with a single bloodline to survive.

Now, the Anck-Su-Namun variant is connected to the original 1932 edition of The Mummy, starring horror legend Boris Karloff as the undead priest of O. G. Furthermore, profound universal monsters are represented in Dracula’s Daughter and the Wolf of London; which is further inspiration to delve into the legacy of the studio’s terrifying successes.

The old classics are in painting here and I’m pleased to embark on this adventure. In addition, I sign up for the line that will survive; Because I’m that wise. But even if that doesn’t influence my enthusiasm, deep down, I know I’m going through mentally going through the most productive Mom quotes from the 1999 remake when I come face-to-face with Anck-Su-Namun.

You can be sure that I am in a position to venture into this supernatural battlefield whenever I get the chance. But at the same time I need the Parks and Universal Experiences to go a little further. And if you make me happy, I think I like the concept of the taste of mom that I propose.

While I’m respectful of universal classics, I can’t deny that director Stephen Sommers’ duology, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, stole the center from me a long time ago. That’s probably why I’m under some influence, thanks to the fact that The Mummy’s Revenge ranks pretty high in my Universal Studios Florida attraction rankings.

So reading the call of Anck-Su-Namun in the Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodline lineup immediately conjured up flashbacks of Patricia Velasquez fighting Rachel Weisz in a sword fight in this better sequel. And since we’re talking about Halloween Horror Nights here, I think Universal Studios Florida and Hollywood not only create a completely haunted space around those movies, but resurrect the deserted concept of The Mummy Four sequel to do so.

There are already a lot of production costs invested in the houses as they are, and Universal wouldn’t have to spend more money licensing outside assets to achieve this. Not to mention, since Brendan Fraser is already set for a Mummy sequel, I don’t think you’d want to twist his arm to come back and dress up like Rick O’Connell to set up the attraction. Just give this guy his cup of coffee and he’ll be perfect.

The most impressive thing would not only be to bring back Rachel Weisz, John Hannah and Oded Fehr to reprise their respective roles as Evelyn O’Connell, Jonathan Carnahan and Ardeth Bay, but also, finally, to bring Antonio Banderas back to the role of villain. . Look, since those main points were revealed and we saw at most a sequel to The Mummy that would have given us a war between Fraser and Banderas for survival, it hasn’t escaped my mind.

I know I have big emotions (and even larger concepts) here. Look, if you could drop me off in a haunted space that has an Alan Silvestri soundtrack propelling me through an adventure of untold riches and curses beyond death, I’d appreciate it. I would drop practically everything to attend.

Come to think of it, with Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines also counting as a sequel to Van Helsing, I wouldn’t mind seeing Hugh Jackman’s monster hunter return as well. And Saskia Van Helsing is teaming up with The Bride, just as Abraham sided with The Creature. But that’s a story for the day. . .

Now it’s time to buy your tickets for Halloween Horror Nights from Universal Studios, if you haven’t already! The curtain rises on this year’s joy and chaos on Friday, Aug. 30 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, Sept. 5 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Remember to keep your bets firm and be wary of any sacred texts you may encounter along the way. You never know what this stork-shaped symbol might represent.
