Attention horror fans, we’re walking through the terrifying but exhilarating revival of the genre at the moment. Supernatural ghost stories, fake blood, gore and jump scares are welcome all year round and, thankfully, there are a bunch of chilling horror movies planned to come our way within the next few years. Whether it’s the return of popular franchises like A Quiet Place and Alien or original scares from new filmmakers, there are a ton of upcoming horror movies to get ready for.
We have a solid line up of horror titles confirmed to be available to enter our eyeballs from 2024 onwards, with more to come that have yet to land a specific release date on the calendar, as well. The movie was written by Diablo Cody, who previously penned Juno and Jennifer’s Body, and it stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse and Carla Gugino. Lisa Frankenstein follows a teen girl (Newton) living in 1989 who decides to reanimate a handsome corpse from the Victorian Era (Sprouse) and make him into the man of her dreams. This sounds like a fun twist on the classic Frankenstein story!
Lionsgate and Blumhouse have teamed up to bring a film titled Imaginary to audiences in early 2024.
