Peyton Reed returns to direct the third installment of the Ant-Man saga, making him one of only two administrators in MCU history to complete a trilogy. . . the most unlikely trilogy in the entire Marvel arsenal. Paul Rudd will also return as Scott Lang, with Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. Kathryn Newton also stars in a remake of Cassie Lang, Scott’s now adult but still adorable daughter.
The villain of the movie? It will be Kang the Conqueror, who will be played by Jonathan Majors of Lovecraft Country. The inclusion of Kang in the Ant-Man sequel makes a lot more sense if you’ve ever seen Loki, because in this series we come across one of its variants, “The One Who Remains. “During the season finale, Majors was present as The One Who Remains so that, by opening the multiverse, the MCU would be exposed to its other variants such as Kang the Conqueror, which will in fact be much less adorable. in Ant-Man 3 than The One Who Remains.
Release date: Early 2023

Secret Invasion might be the biggest thing to happen to the MCU since Avengers: Endgame, though the trailer looks like the tone sounds a lot more like Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Samuel L. Jackson will return as Nick Fury alongside Ben Mendelsohn as Talos for this series about Skrull’s shape-shifting infiltration on Earth. Kingsley Ben-Adir plays the villain of the series. Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke and Killian Scott also play.
Side effects include Thomas Bezucha (Let Him Go) and Ali Selim (The Looming Tower), while Mr. Robot veteran Kyle Bradstreet is the editor. The events of this series will set the Armor Wars series (more on that below). Is this how we recovered SHIELD in the MCU after all?We hope so!
Release date: May 5, 2023
After a tumultuous era in which James Gunn was fired and then rehired as director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (with a detour en route to The Suicide Squad in the Distinguished Competition), he will finally complete his space trilogy for the studio. Is it technically an MCU movie? But with all the legal quirks between Marvel and Sony, and this franchise’s multi-merger concept, who’s to say it’s NOT an MCU movie, right? In any case, the sequel to the most productive Spider-Man movie. of all time arrives in 2022 with Avatar: The Brain of the Last Airbender directed by Joaquim Dos Santos and written by David Callaham.
Also contact us about this casting. Oscar Isaac is Spider-Man 2099 (which you can read more about here), Issa Rae is Spider-Woman, Jason Schwartzman is Spot and Daniel Kaluuya is the incredibly delicious Spider-Punk. The Japanese Spider-Man of the 1970s will also appear!
Release date: 2023
Featured in Hawkeye and portrayed through Alaqua Cox, Echo, also known as Maya Lopez, will have its own spin-off series at Disney. Here is the official synopsis. . .
“The origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless habit in New York catches up with her hometown. You’ll have to face your past, reconnect with your Native American roots, and adopt a sense of circle of relatives and networks if you ever hope to move forward. »
Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, Graham Greene and Zahn McClarnon are also on the bill. Sydney Freeland (Navajo) and Catriona McKenzie (Gunaikurnai) will direct the episodes. The great news is that Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox will return in this series as Kingpin and Daredevil respectively. The Kingpin’s resurgence is really a surprise: Echo’s idea of having killed him at the end of Hawkeye.
Release date: 2023
As revealed at the end of the Marvel multiverse bombing, Loki, the god of malice, will return for a moment to Disney after he and Sylvie replaced the MCU in the Season 1 finale. However, we know that director Kate Herron rarely directs the season of the moment, and Moon Knight administrators Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have weighed in.
Tom Hiddleston, of course, will return as the main character, Owen Wilson will reprise the role of Mobius and we will be able to locate Sylvie after her meeting with The One Who Remains. And in a glorious new surprise, Ke Huy Quan will sign on for the series in an undisclosed role.
Release date: July 28, 2023
WandaVision Megan McDonnell was asked to write the script for Captain Marvel 2, which now bears the name The Marvels. Candyman’s Nia DaCosta will direct. We have no idea where we’re going to place Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) in the sequel to her successful first standalone MCU entry. Will he fight to loosen the iron grip of his former Kree friends in a post-Avengers galaxy?Or will the follow-up film see her fighting for justice in the present?
However, we know that she will face Zawe Ashton as the recently anonymous antagonist, and WandaVision’s Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) will also return to her super-powered state following the events of this groundbreaking show. like “Captain Marvel” in the comics, this name of The Marvels becomes more appropriate. And even more appropriate when you realize that Kamala Khan, Mrs. Marvel, will also make her big-screen debut here.
Oh, and a delightful detail, as shown in the post-credits scene of the end of Mrs. Marvel: Carol, Monica and Kamala will constantly replace the film.
Release date: October 6, 2023
While it’s not technically a component of the MCU, things are still murky enough with those Sony Spider-Man projects that we think it’s better to prevent than cure when it comes to adding them. In this case, another Spidey villain gets his own movie. This time, it’s Kraven the Hunter, a character who had already been asked to appear in Sony’s previous attempt to bring a Sinister Six movie to life (his spear made the impression on this lighter at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2), and whom Jon Watts once thought of as the villain of his third Spidey film before No Way Home reunited.
JC Chandor directs from a script through Matt Holloway, Art Marcum and Richard Wenk. Aaron Taylor-Johnson will play the role of Sergei Kravenoff. He’ll have to be bigger than Morbius, right?Anyone who says “it’s Kraven’s time” will be blocked and reported.
Release date: Fall 2023
Yes, the beloved X-Men series is back! Marvel promises it will be “an animated series exploring new stories in the iconic ’90s timeline of the original series,” but there will be a change of leadership. Beau DeMayo selected as executive manufacturer and lead writer. We’ve written more about why this is the only edition of X-Men covered here.
Release date: Fall 2023
The first of two series to explore the legacy of Iron Man and Tony Stark at the MCU, Ironheart stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a teenager from the M. I. T. who creates his own armor to correct the mistakes of the world. will debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and will be a character to watch as the MCU evolves.
Anthony Ramos (In The Heights) will play Parker Robbins, aka The Hood, as the main villain of this series. We think The Hood can have a wonderful long career in the MCU and why here.
Release date: Winter 2023
WandaVision Jac Schaefer triumphantly returns to the small screen of the MCU with this live-action spin-off series that will bring back the main character of this first program, Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn). Vibrations of laughter and witchcraft arrive; rabbit probably stroking. Joe Locke, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata and Aubrey Plaza sign up for the brilliant Hahn (make canon of Legion MCU, cowards!).
Release date: January 12, 2024
Rapper Bad Bunny will play Spider-Man’s hard-to-understand character, El Muerto, in one of Sony’s failed attempts to create its own Spidey-centric universe. To date, El Muerto has only given the impression in two comics, so we do not know where this will happen, but of course, why not?But hey, they landed Jonás Cuarón as director, so anything is happening here!
Release date: February 16, 2024
Dakota Johnson will play the title character and Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) will play a character who is possibly a variant of Gwen Stacy’s multiverse in a film directed by S. J. Clarkson and written by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott and Zosia Mamet also play, But we have no idea who they play.
We surely have no idea what Sony is doing with those videos on a smart day, let alone this one. Again, is this technically the MCU? But since Madame Web can see the multiverse, and with all the strangeness of the Spidey/MCU stuff, we (like Morbius) are “adjacent to MCUs. “
Release date: March 29, 2024
The last (?) component of Sony’s animated Spider-Man trilogy has a release date. Listen, if they need to do 15, we’ll see them all.
Release date: Spring 2024
Matt Murdock returns once again to the Marvel fold in 2024, this time for an 18-episode season at Disney that is shrouded in mystery lately. We’ve already seen Matt appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home and he’s surely been awesome doing the entirety of Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo, all eyes will be on Charlie Cox as he leads other new solo series like the fearless man in Daredevil: Born Again. Vincent D’Onofrio, of course, will be back like the thorn in the side, Kingpin.
Release date: May 3, 2024
Malcolm Spellman, executive producer of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, co-wrote Captain America Four with FWS alumnus Dalan Musson. Julius Onah (Luce, The Cloverfield Paradox) will direct. This happens to be one of the biggest MCU videos in the run-up to the end of the Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars era (more on these in a minute). Here’s why. . .
Of course, Anthony Mackie will once again be Sam Wilson in this incredibly difficult Captain America suit. But this is where things get interesting. The villain of the movie? It would be The Leader, played through Tim Blake Nelson, last seen in the 2008 film Incredible Hulk. We’ll also meet the Israeli superhero (and mutant!) Sabra, played through Shira Haas. He will return as Isaiah Bradley and Joaquin Torres, respectively. Oh, and a guy named Harrison Ford will update to the past William Hurt as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.
This is also the movie in which we will be officially taken to the MCU edition of the Thunderbolts. What we will communicate more in our next access instead. . .
Release date: July 26, 2024
Marvel Studios has now officially revealed its plans to unveil Thunderbolts. Your first query may be “who?” And you’d be right to ask!Unlike the Avengers, this Marvel Comics gang is not a superhero team, but a team of villains who claim to be heroic characters in the eyes of the public. Planet, then use their influence to orchestrate global events in their favor. Jake Schreier will direct from a screenplay by Eric Pearson.
While Thunderbolts would appear to be out of left field, the MCU has been building this team for some time. Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) has been recruiting members since Black Widow, and now we have our full lineup of Thunderbolts. MCUs: Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), John Walker/American Agent (Wyatt Russell), Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster (Olga Kurlyenko), Red Guardian (David Harbour) and Ghost (Hannah John) -Kamen).
Now in the comics, it’s none other than Captain America: Civil War villain Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl), who recently emerged from the shadows to reveal the extent of his wealth and influence in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, who led the team. Bruhl is not listed as an official component of this project. . . For now.
Release date: September 6, 2024
In 2019, Marvel announced that it would reboot the Blade franchise with Mahershala Ali betting on the daytime walker. Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) originally intended to direct a script through Stacy Amma Osei-Kuffour, but left the task only a week before filming began.
Blade already appeared (well, his voice) at the end of Eternals to talk to Dane Whitman (Kit Harington) about how to care for the ebony leaf. We hope this film has ties to Black Knight, Moon Knight and perhaps the Halloween special Werewolf By Night. Ali’s True Detective co-star and former Blade villain Stephen Dorff is excited to see what he can do with the character, and so are we.
Release date: November 8, 2024
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick return as the editorial team tasked with bringing Merc with a Mouth to the MCU, and Ryan Reynolds’ joint collaborator Shawn Levy will direct. What Deadpool 3 would look like in the interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe, sure, everyone can guess, but if they can perceive the follies of this kind of corporate synergy, it’s Ryan Reynolds. Oh, and as we learned recently, none other than Hugh Jackman will return to this trio as Wolverine. How? Well, this is happening long before the character’s death in 2029, as shown by James Mangold’s Logan. So, there you have it!
Release date: Unknown, still 2024
Don Cheadle will reprise his role as Rhodey and act solo in the War Machine armor in a nightmare situation for the MCU: what if Tony Stark’s Iron Man generation fell into the hands of the villains and doubled?Wars promises wonderful action and many hard-to-understand villains. Apparently, the events of Secret Invasion will lead directly to this movie. . . which first evolved as a Disney series before becoming a movie.
Yassir Lester will be the head writer/showrunner, with filming beginning in 2023. We can’t wait.
Release date: 2024
Spider-Man: Freshman Year is another MCU animated series that will stick to Peter Parker “on his way to fitting Spider-Man into the MCU, with an adventure like never before noticed and a flavor that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots. . . ” But there’s a twist! Executive producer Jeff Trammel is the editor of this prequel exhibit that is recently being worked on at Disney.
Release date: 2024
As Marvel Studios ramps up its new animated division, it’s no wonder you’re being informed that there’s now a number of new cartoons on the way to Disney, but what if fans. . . ?A total series of Marvel Zombies antics is coming!
Release date: February 14, 2025
The MCU movie Fantastic Four is in spite of everything to come! And here’s everything we know about it: WandaVision’s Matt Shakman directs, taking the place of Jon Watts from the Spider-Man MCU trilogy, who left homework early, and virtual strangers Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer wrote the script. That’s Right. That’s all we know. We don’t even know if John Krasinski will reprise his role as Reed Richards from Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. Anyone who claims to know it in a different way is a lie to you.
We’ve written more about our hopes for the MCU Fantastic Four movie here.
Release date: May 2, 2025
Marvel Studios revealed at SDCC 2022 that it’s not running on one, but TWO Avengers videos to conclude Phase 6 of the MCU, and although lately we know how to duck over them outdoors from this Shang-Chi director and Ten Rings Destiny legend Daniel Cretton is at the helm of this one. We can deduce a little from the titles that have been chosen! The first in May 2025 will be Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, so we can safely assume that Jonathan Majors’ annoying multiverse variants will go anywhere for the foreseeable future.
The name here is taken from Kurt Busiek’s odd but action-packed 16-component Marvel comics of the early 2000s, in which Kang effectively takes over Earth but is eventually defeated by the Avengers. Who will be part of the Avengers team looking to fend off Kang’s invasion?Only time will tell.
Release date: May 1, 2026
The rumor has been circulating for a long time, and now we know for sure: Avengers: Secret Wars is coming in 2025!However, as there have been some versions of the Secret Wars saga in Marvel Comics, it’s unclear what the story is. The MCU iteration could follow. It’s completely imaginable that it possibly won’t focus on any of them, of course, but with Fantastic Four releasing Phase 6 in 2025, we can only believe the long-term MCU Doom spells. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for facts about the cast and story as it unfolds!
Release date: unknown
There are very few main points about this one right now, but Ryan Coogler will expand at least one Wakanda TV series for Disney. We’ve written more about some of the implications of this here.
Reports imply that Marvel is also running on Shang-Chi 2, a Spider-Man: Sophomore Year animated series, a Nova project, and a momentary season of X-Men ’97. We will continue to update it with new ones as it becomes available. !
Release date: unknown
Andrew Guest (of the charming Hawkeye) will serve as head writer and executive producer of a series about Simon Williams, the MCU’s celebrity superhero in residence. The ever-brilliant Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will play Wonder Man. And since this is a series about an MCU actor, it’s only natural that Ben Kingsley is going through the so-called Trevor Slattery. That’s it. . . everything we know for now, folks. However, we have some concepts about what the arrival of Wonder Man can do to the wider MCU. Read about it here!
What upcoming MCU projects lie ahead?Let us know in the comments!
