For the rest of 2024 and into 2025, the list of sci-fi TV shows is plentiful. There are plenty of dates to mark on the calendar, adding a variety of genres combined with sci-fi, adding black comedy, thrillers, spies. action screens and books of television screen adaptations. Some of the entries for 2025 lack information, but we’ll be sure to update them as soon as we hear something. One of Gotham City’s most notable villains is getting a spin-off of a TV series about Max and comes straight from 2022’s The Batman. Reprising his role as Penguin, Colin Farrell will play Oswald Cobblepot and his epic to force the criminal underworld. of Gotham, just a week after the events of the film.

Next up is the WandaVision spin-off and new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Agatha All Along (previously known for several other titles, including Agatha: Darkhold Diaries and Agatha). Reprising her role as Agatha Harkness, Kathryn Hahn takes on her true tough witch form after posing as Wanda’s neighbor, Agnes. Patti LuPone also showed that she will be signing up for the coven as the 450-year-old witch, Lilia Calderu (Beau Is Scared), throughout Aubrey Plaza. (Parks and Recreation) and Joe Locke (Heartstopper).
With a wonderful cast, the series will stick to the events of WandaVision with Agatha on a quest — spoiler alert for those who haven’t yet seen WandaVision — to regain her former powers. After many delays and name changes, Agatha All Along After All is coming to Disney Plus on September 18.
Frank Herbert’s Dune universe expands even further and continues with a spin-off prequel TV show. Previously titled The Sisterhood, Dune: Prophecy takes place 10,000 years before 2021’s Dune and 2024’s Dune: Part Two.
It will do so about the life of the Bene Gesserit. Already represented on the big screen, the Bene Gesserit are known as a tough brotherhood with superhuman abilities. Sisters Valya Harkonnen (Emily Watson) and Tula Harkonnen (Olivia Williams) founded the mythical cult and that’s all we know so far. That and it’s coming to the HBO Max streaming service.
When it comes to Star Wars, there are plenty of deals. There is a list of new entries coming to Disney Plus in 2024 and Skeleton Crew is one of them. The coming-of-age story will focus on four children looking to return home after getting lost in the galaxy.
Created by Jon Watts, director of the 2017-2021 Spider-Man trilogy, and screenwriter Christopher Ford, the main plot points of Skeleton Crew are unknown outside of a behind-the-scenes symbol reveal. It would be set in the Star. Wars timeline after the fall of the Empire, meaning it may eventually intertwine with other series set in the same vein, such as The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Book of Boba Fett.
In 2023, the spy action mystery Citadel, starring Agents Mason (Richard Madden) and Nadia (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), was introduced on Amazon Prime. Citadel is a once-famous spy company that has now been dismantled, and with it, all the agents’ memories have been erased. Throughout the series, the agents fight to get back to who they were and fight back. You may have noticed that Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but that’s not where his story ends. There’s a lot more to explore when it comes to comics and unsurprisingly, the plot of Born Again has been widely speculated and enthusiasts are eager to find out which thread the Daredevil TV series will pick up.
