Upcoming The Walking Dead TV series and movies: What’s in store for the zombie universe?

If you’re a fan of zombies, you’ve probably heard of The Walking Dead before. From its ever-changing roster of characters to its heartbreaking deaths, The Walking Dead has established itself in history as one of the leaders of primetime zombie drama. .

But the global TWD has grown and now there are consequences coming in, because that’s the way it is, of course.

If you’re like me and looking for the best that TWD global has to offer, here are all the upcoming TV shows and movies from The Walking Dead, plus those that will be part of the 2025 TV lineup.

The Walking Dead: Dead City premiered on June 18, 2023. It followed the story of Maggie and Negan traveling to New York to retrieve their kidnapped son.

Season 2 of the series will take place very shortly after its update in January 2025. In fact, a trailer released in October 2024 on YouTube shows an idea of what we are going to address with the next part of Negan and Maggie. Check it out below:

This trailer also showed that season 2 will be released in spring 2025. We don’t have a precise date yet, but at least we know it will be this year. Along with this teaser, we also gain an AMC logline, where it is said that Maggie and Negan are now on opposite sides of a war and their paths intertwine once back in Manhattan.

Deadline has shown that Kim Coates has joined the second season as a new cast member, and there have also been a few other additions to the Dead City cast which you can check out in our cast list. Jeffrey Dean Morgan even showed at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con that Lucille (Negan’s bat named after his wife) will return for season 2 (via Variety):

I know, I was excited too. . . there’s something about this intelligent woman that I like. . . It makes me become Negan.

Two seasons of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon came and went and honestly, season 2, titled The Book of Carol, was even crazier than the previous one and featured an even bigger cast of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

And, while I enjoyed Daryl Dixon Season 2 just as much as the next person, it got me thinking about the next season. Thankfully, we already know plenty about the next chapter in Daryl and Carol’s story. In fact, there’s already a teaser that was released, stating that Season 3 is set to release at some point in 2025. Check it out below:

According to The Hollywood Reporter in November 2024, filming is already underway in Spain, and since there’s already a teaser, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get some other updates very soon, and how the hell did they end up in Spain? These two will go on vacation to Europe until the end of this show.

AMC gave us an idea of what to expect in Season 3, saying that it will follow Daryl and Carol as they try to find a way back home after they let Laurent take off with Ash to escape France. Now, they must try to survive and figure out how to see their loved ones again in a world that is completely unfamiliar to them. Okay, so can Season 3 get here already?

You know, as someone who’s been watching this show since the beginning, it’s weird to think that it’s ending after having so many memories and making friends just by watching this show. After 11 seasons, The Walking Dead came to an end. achieving its emotional end on November 20, 2022.

While it’s provocative to say goodbye to several characters I’ll never see again, I know it’s not the end, given all of these consequences that are happening, so I’ll call it a “see you soon. ” “” for some of my favorite characters. Now I can gladly rank all the seasons from worst to best.

Also completed are Fear The Walking Dead, which ended in November 2023, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, a two-season spinoff that adds a lot of backstory to the world, and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, a mini. -series. about Rick and Michonne. If you want to see all 3 screens, here’s how to do it:

Stream The Walking Dead on Netflix

Stream Fear The Walking Dead on AMC+

Stream The Walking Dead: World Beyond on AMC+

Stream The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live on AMC+

As a fan of The Walking Dead, I can’t wait to see what new stories the creators and cast plan to bring to the walking world I grew up in. I’m also a little nervous, because the last thing I need is to have too many stories to stick to at once.

Anyway, if those screens come up, I’ll be sitting in my seat with popcorn, waiting to watch. I think 2025 will be an incredible year.
