Christian Volckman’s new film, THE ROOM, is officially released NOW (CONSIDERING HERE – BUY HERE) on DVD and exclusively Shudder. Today we have an interview to share with you with the star herself, Olga Kurylenko. No stranger to genre films, Olga starred in hits such as OBLIVION, THE NOVEMBER MAN, and as one of my favorite fresh Bond girls, Camille, in QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
THE ROOM stars Olga Kurylenko, Kevin Janssens, Joshua Wilson and John Flanders. Watch the interview above and then tell us what you think in the comments below. Here’s the official synopsis of the film:
Matt and Kate are buying an indifferent house. As they move, they notice a piece that grants them an unlimited number of curtain wishes. But since Kate had two miscarriages, what they miss most is a son.
I enjoyed THE ROOM for having a different view than I would expect to be a fashionable edition of the short story “Monkey’s Paw”. Although this film is not entirely unique, it works more than it does and provides a mirror image of materialism and motherhood with a pinch of THE TWILIGHT ZONE. Olga Kurylenko offers one of her greatest productive performances here, and it’s a real thrill to sit back and talk to her about THE ROOM. Cheer up!
