THE £1 billion progression predicted to the centre of Edinburgh will officially be known as the St James Quarter, it was announced today.

And despite the unrest facing the retail sector, the allocation for bosses will be a good fortune as it links retail outlets with further progression, adding a hotel, apartment hotel, restaurants, cinemas and apartments.

A five-screen Everyman cinema will feature convention halls and movies.

The residential detail of the assignment reaches 152 apartments, ranging from studios to three bedrooms, with a shared lawn room and full concierge service.
