In the hit series Vikings, many of the main characters have made chooses that define who they are, and Torvi (Georgia Hirst) certainly has as well. She’s gone through a lot over her short life, including having a number of companions and children that have sprung from those unions. However, one choice changes everything for her and sets her down a path of her own making.
When viewers first meet Torvi, she is the wife of Jarl Borg (Thorbjørn Harr). He chooses to take Ragnar Lothbrok’s (Travis Fimmel) lands when he’s away raiding. He brings Torvi along with him, but they don’t account for Ragnar getting help and taking Kattegat back. Ragnar has Jarl Borg blood-eagled, and Torvi is forced to watch it all go down.
