Warner Bros. Discovery launches in collaboration with the IAEA: “Good To Know”, the first on nuclear science on the Discovery Channel

“Good To Know”, a new series of educational videos that explain how nuclear science can solve global problems, is introduced today at Discovery Channel, as a component of a new component with the International Agency Atomic Power (AIEA).

The films will be released in more than 30 countries and will reach millions of families throughout the region of Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Each of these films is around one minute long and will play as part of Discovery’s ‘Good To Know’, a new educational videos series about the benefits of nuclear science and technology, both on television and online. 

The long-running films in the series will continue to examine how nuclear science can contribute to development, particularly in light of climate change, for example by measuring how coastal regions sequester carbon, or how oceans become more acidic, or even how destructive insects can be controlled without chemicals. The films will also provide more important points on the main AIAA systems aimed at combating plastic pollution, drought and hunger.
