Watch Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson in the first trailer for The Devil All the Time

Filmmaker Antonio Campos’ Netflix drama The Devil All Time is based on the saga of the circle of relatives of the same call through the novelist Donald Ray Pollock in 2011 and features a cast that includes Bill Skarsgord, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Haley Bennett, Mia Wasowskaik, Eliza Scanlen, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland. “It’s a multi-fronted narrative that stands between the end of World War II and the beginning of America’s involvement in Vietnam, in which the lives of a heterogeneous character organization intersect,” says the director.

Holland plays the central role of a troubled guy named Arvin Russell.

“Tom is a great user and a very generous actor, however, he’s willing to go anywhere he wants to go through the character emotionally,” says Campos, who directed Christine in 2016. “He sought to pass where he had to go. . Tom’s electric. He’s sitting there doing nothing and he’s immensely observable.”

Robert Pattinson, meanwhile, a preacher named Preston Teagardin.

“Rob has a lot of concepts ready and you don’t know what you’re going to get, but it’s all interesting,” Campos says. “The character comes to life, I saw him in front of me when we were on set.”

The Devil All the Time will be released in September on Netflix and teammates Harry Melling and Pokey LaFarge.
