Celebrity Race Across the World will return to BBC One this week, with 4 pairs of competition covering more than 7,800 miles in South America. The race will start in Belém, Brazil, and finish in Frutillar, Chile.
The newest series is made up of six episodes and includes broadcaster Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy, actor Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary Ellen, former model Kelly Brook and her spouse Jeremy, as well as BBC Radio 2 presenter Scott Mills and her spouse Sam.
The race has five checkpoints, and the competition only reveals their next destination at the start of the previous one. As dictated by the culture, the team is allocated a budget equivalent to the plane ticket to cover the race circuit.

Initially struggling, the father-and-son team managed to position third and fourth at the first two checkpoints. However, they took the second position at the third checkpoint, traveling from France to Switzerland, and maintained their position of strength.
