The adaptation of the popular musical film “Wicked” is now due to stream after debuting in theaters in November. Here’s everything you want to know about “Wicked” hunting at home, as well as all the deleted scenes, bonus features and other extras.
The fantasy musical film premiered in theaters on November 22 and stars Ariana Grande as Ginda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. Before its start on streaming, the film continued to skyrocket at the box office. “Wicked” surpassed $635 million worldwide, adding $424 million in domestic sales and $210 million in foreign markets. This makes “Wicked” the second most successful fantasy film of all time, according to Collider, and the third most successful film of 2024 in the United States, behind Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine.

“Wicked” is currently available to stream on digital video-on-demand platforms, including Prime Video, Apple TV+, and Fandango At Home. You can purchase “Wicked” for $29.99 or rent the film for $19.99. For rentals, you have 30 days to start watching the video and 48 hours to finish once started.
The movie will also debut on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on Feb. 4, 2025.

“Wicked” will eventually be available to stream on Peacock, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet. The film is expected to hit the platform three to four months after its theatrical debut, likely in February or March 2025.
