XGIMI’s New Aladdin Projector Could Solve Many Home Theater Problems

Popular home theater logo XGIMI announced its Aladdin projector at CES, a 3-in-1 smart device that can solve a lot of problems for cinema developers in the long run. The design of the ceiling light means that the projector itself is cleverly hidden while offering double power. This means you won’t have to set up a complicated coffee table or find a shelf to accommodate a large box that sticks out. It also means there’s no risk of the projector blocking your view, and so does the logo. He claims that placement on the ceiling reduces glare.

An undeniable circular design means that it will blend perfectly with other decorations and will necessarily integrate with the circular background until it’s time to shine. Best of all, there’s also a hidden Bluetooth speaker to use and provide sound to all the projected content.

That’s not all XGIMI is bringing to the showfloor this year, though. Those after one of the best projectors will have heard of the Horizon series, and there’s a new kid in town. The new Horizon Max folds IMAX Enhanced certification into its 4K projector offering, but that’s not all.

Two technological elements have been advanced here; Smart display architecture 5. 0 and dual light 2. 0. The first, ISA, allows Horizon Max to automatically configure itself to the best position on each wall (and save the settings). This means that your camera will produce the best image. It doesn’t matter where it’s pointing.

Dual Light 2. 0 necessarily makes your symbol brighter and clearer. By combining phosphor light with a more expensive triple laser, Horizon can produce a very high-contrast symbol with a brightness that XGIMI says is 35% brighter than its previous model.

Things are a little murkier when it comes to availability. We know that XGIMI Aladdin will be available in Japan in June 2024, but there’s no word of a Western release yet. We don’t have any data on the availability of Horizon Max, but we’ll keep this page updated as we receive more information.
