Yamaha says it has redesigned the two new receivers from scratch. The new RX-V diversity is the latest trends and specifications for home entertainment, setup and game usage. New features for 8K 60Hz, HDMI 2.1 and HDR10 are included to manage newer technologies.
Rx-V diversity now includes two new models, the RX-V4A and RX-V6A, and will offer five and 7 channels respectively. Whether you’re in a subscriber position to 4K content or need a receiver in position for upcoming 8K content, the new models are designed to deliver the highest resolution content available. Yamaha claims that no other AV receiver on the market will offer as many HDMI 8K inputs as those new models, with 3 on the RX-V6A (7 inputs in total) and 4 inputs on the RX-V4A.
The advance of RX-V diversity in 2020 begins with a new look, internal and external, with a simplified and modern design and a new high-resolution LCD display and a selection wheel with touch buttons. In addition to the all-new look, receivers come with HDMI 2.1 support for faster, smoother, smoother, and uninterrupted symbols with automatic low latency (ALLM) mode, variable refresh rates (VRR), immediate symbol sending (QFT), and media switching (QMS).
