Zac Efron will participate in a new version of the 1987 hit comedy “Three Men and a Baby” for Disney Plus.
Gordon Gray, whose production credits come with “The Rookie” and “The Way Back” through Ben Affleck, produced. Will Reichel wrote the script for the remake. A director has still been defined for the remake.

The original “Three Men and a Bathrough” features Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson as singles who live a carefree lifestyle and share an apartment in New York. The trio is forced to adjust to fatherhood when a little woman begod by Danson’s character arrives at her door.
This script, written through Jim Cruickshank and James Orr, was based on the 1985 French film “Three Men and a Couffin”. “Three Men and a Bathrough,” directed through Leonard Nimoy, a massive success with $240 million in the global cash register’s workplace with a budget of $11 million. The stars reworked in 1990 for a sequel, “Three Men and a Little Lady,” which grossed $71 million worldwide.
Efron broke up with Disney, starring Troy Bolton in a trio of “High School Musical” films, released from 2006 to 2008. The credits come with 2007’s “Hairspray,” “17 Again,” “New Year’s Eve,” “The Lucky One,” “Neighbors,” “Dirty Grandpa,” “Beach Guardians,” “The Best Showman,” “Extremely unpleasant, incredibly bad and vile” and “Scoob!”
The Efron executive was a producer on the Netflix documentary series “Down to Earth”, in which he explores the sustainability factor on the planet. Efron replaced CAA, Alchemy Entertainment and Felker Toczek. The news was first reported through The Hollywood Reporter.
