Zurich in tribute to Juliette Binoche; Commission C4 “Vis”; Filming bollywood’s ‘Bell Bottom’ image in Glasgow – Global Briefs

Channel four commissioned Screw, a six-episode crime drama at STV Studios, from BAFTA-nominated editor Rob Williams (The Victim, Killing Eve). The screen is a glimpse into the terrifying and dark truth of life as a criminal officer in a male criminal in the 21st century in Britain. The task is carried out through Caroline Hollick, head of fiction at Channel Four and overseen by Lee Mason, channel four start-up editor, and Gemma Boswell, Channel Four Progression Manager. Karla Crome is part of the editorial team. Sarah Brown is executive manufacturer of STV Studios and Brian Kaczynski is a manufacturer. Banijay Rights will manage global distribution.

Filming is underway in the Scottish city of Glasgow at Bell Bottom, an 1980s Bollywood mystery starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kappor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta. Production has closed many roads in the city centre. Filming will end on September 5. Filming has an on-site doctor to monitor imaginable virus outbreaks and actors and equipment wear wristwatches that monitor their oxygen grades and frame temperature.
